Management Consultant - Operations and IT

Our client a leading Professional Services firm have established a new Operational Consulting offering and are looking to grow the team at a variety of levels from Analyst to Director. Candidates will be required to work across performance and operational improvement and IT Consulting. The Consulting Division is going to have the full backing and support of the organisation so candidates will be offered exceptional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of client engagement from scope definition to delivery
• Conduct and interpret market research as part of client projects
• Design and implement research methodologies
• Concisely summarise the results of analysis undertaken (verbal and written) and draw conclusions as appropriate
• Conduct client meetings and influence to ensure engagement and buy in
• Leading teams to ensure a high quality deliverable
• Involvement in staff training and development
• Drive business development and deliver client presentations

Requirements

• Third level qualification
• 5+ years consulting experience
• Lean six sigma certification (optional)
• Creative in service and solution development
• Team leader and problem solver, highly self-motivated
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment
• Excellent communicator across written, verbal and visual communication forms
• Capacity to build long term relationships and act as a strong influencer
• Able to adjust style and attitude and communication to a diverse client base
• A thorough understanding of business models and how businesses operate together with a good grasp of the economic context around business
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven success in team management and leadership
• Strong project management experience
