Management Consultant - Financial Services - Contract

Our client a leading consulting firm are looking for an experienced Management/ Business Process Consultant to join their growing MC division. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem solving IT process improvement experience within a Consulting or Financial Services environment. The candidate should demonstrate flexibility to adapt analytical methods This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team with a strong package on offer. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support all aspects of client engagement from scope definition to delivery
  • Plan, analyse and interpret business information using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Concisely summarise the results of analysis undertaken (verbal and written)
  • Conduct meetings with clients in a professional and organised manner
  • Conduct and interpret market research as part of client projects
  • Contribute to the management of client engagement using project management skills
  • Contribute to the preparation of client reports, presentations and client communications using excellent writing skills
  • Identify challenges, risks, problems and opportunities
  • Liaise and maintain contact with staff at all levels of client organisations
  • Manage project files, plans, documentation and status reports
  • Support business development, including preparation of proposals and tender responses

 

Requirements 

  • Relevant third level qualification
  • 3+ years consulting experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills
  • Familiar with Lean Processes 
  • Proven skills in project management, business process improvement, and change management a bonus
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to bring an open mind, critical thinking and new ideas to client projects
  • Demonstrable ability to use the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Personally well organised, with good planning capability
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
