Our client a leading Management Consultancy wish to appoint a consultant to join their HR & Performance practice. This is an exciting role that will offer candidates excellent project exposure as well as advanced career progression. The candidate will work with a team that delivers a range of consulting services, including organisation development, human resources and business process change to clients across the public and private sector. The role will involves both operational and strategic projects and is ideal for someone looking for a challenge. Excellent project and team management skills are a must, as the role will involve the project management and resourcing of various assignments and managing a team of trainees. The position will involve managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of client engagement from scope definition to delivery
  • Plan, analyse and interpret business information using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Concisely summarise the results of analysis undertaken (verbal and written)
  • Conduct meetings with clients in a professional and organised manner
  • Conduct and interpret market research as part of client projects
  • Contribute to the management of client engagement using project management skills
  • Contribute to the preparation of client reports, presentations and client communications using excellent writing skills
  •  Identify challenges, risks, problems and opportunities
  • Liaise and maintain contact with staff at all levels of client organisations
  • Manage project files, plans, documentation and status reports
  • Manage and develop team members
  • Support business development, including preparation of proposals and tender responses

Requirements

  • Relevant HR qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years
  • Experience in providing advice and delivering solutions to clients in the area of Human Resources and/or Organisation Development
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven success in team management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must multitask and have experience in project management
  • Strong business development skills and an ability to cross sell with audit/ accountancy teams 
  • Excellent knowledge of HR legislation and best practice
  • Experience of public sector organisations (Desirable)
