Financial Accountant - Manager

DHRP are partnering a leading organisation in Dublin 2 who are looking to recruit a Financial Accounting/ Manager to join their growing Finance and Operations team. Responsibilities

  • Support senior management in controlling, analysing and reporting on business performance. A key initiative of the team is to be ‘Trusted Business Advisors’ and carrying out this function is at the core of this job
  • Complete month end and year end close
  • Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of various MI including annual budgeting process, variance analysis, revenue and profitability reporting. Analyse and provide commentary on results as required
  • Forecasting, KPI analysis, and performance review. Investigate performance anomalies and rectify where necessary
  • Work closely with the Service Line Operations Leads to develop a thorough understanding of the business and assess any impact on performance and efficiency. The role will also be expected to leverage off the knowledge and experiences of other Finance Managers within other parts of the business
  • Work with the Financial Management Assistant and Credit Controller to drive working capital Initiatives
  • Constantly try to develop new and improved ways in how we operate and how we report performance to the Business and Senior Management

 

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • A pro-active self-starter who can multi-task and prioritise a broad range of tasks
  • Proven analytical skills and processing large volumes of data accurately
  • Problem solver who can see the big picture and think ‘outside the box’
  • Team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant financial experience from an accountancy or internal finance function
  • Commitment to developing self and desire to make the role their own
  • Ability to coach and develop other members
  • A confident communicator who can interact with a range of stakeholders up to Partner level;
  • Proven analytical skills and processing large volumes of data accurately
