IT Infrastructure Architect | Project Manager

Our client a global leader within IT Consulting are looking to grow their IT Infrastructure consultancy by making the strategic appointment of an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect or Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Senior Manager/Architect level with 8+ years delivery experience in IT (Financial Services preferable)
• Experience in definition of infrastructure architecture within large scale data and system migration projects
• Providing oversight, guidance and direction to Consultants and Associates on multiple concurrent and complex projects
• Individual contributor who leverages IT management and technical skills to deliver high-impact results
• Responsibility for all aspects of engagements such as risk management, project management and client relationships
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior members of the team
• Drafting reports and presentations to explain our findings

Requirements

• Proven industry experience of managing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure services
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including Server operating systems, data archiving/management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies including server and messaging technologies
• Excellent knowledge of server and application Virtualisation technologies
• Experience with IBM Mainframe and SUN Solaris systems advantageous (not essential)
• Experience in Networking/Security advantageous
• Proven experience working with network/storage environments on large scale networks
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure security standards, compliance and governance and experience of implementing infrastructure security projects
• The ability to come up with creative solutions to complex problems
• Proven project management experience and the ability to manage relationships at all levels 
• Concise and clear communication to all levels of management
• The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines
