Tax Manager - Industry Focus

DHRP are working on an exciting opportunity for a full-time manager/senior manager to join their group. The candidate will have an opportunity to work across the group's full remit of business offerings with a strong prospect for progression.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in tax research, tax planning, due diligence and other ad hoc projects pertaining to the group  
• Proactively engage and partner with client business tax teams to deliver solutions
• Management and oversight of a tax compliance COE team
• Drive standardization, automation, and process improvements, simplify processes and enhance existing analytical tools to ensure tax compliance
• Partner with business finance teams in relation to compliance
• Liaising with Irish Revenue on miscellaneous tax issues pertaining to the group
• Managing a program of tax self-reviews and any related follow-up self-corrections/voluntary disclosures

Requirements

• AITI qualified
• Experienced Manager/Senior Manager (5-7 years tax experience)
• Working knowledge of Alpha tax corporation tax tool
• Good tax accounting knowledge (ideally IFRS)
• Strong communication and presentational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional international team
• A flexible energetic pro-active personality with the ability to multi-task
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills and work with new and unfamiliar systems and information
• An individual who will operate with the highest level of integrity at all times
