Insolvency Executive QFA Commercial and Residential Property

Our client is seeking to recruit an insolvency specialist with a strong background in Residential Property and Real Estate. The main purpose of this role is to support the running and management of the RMU (Residential Management Unit) which principally handles Receivership Cases of RIPS spread throughout the country.  Reporting to the Manager, expertise and experience in dealing with borrowers, case managers, valuers and other property professionals will be a key advantage. QFA affiliation with ultimate full qualification is a level that will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Initial borrower cooperation in order to access and appraise the property
  • Supervision in secure & lock-down of properties
  • Liaison with tenants and control of rents
  • Appointment of valuers and estate agents
  • Analysis of property valuations and rental levels
  • Property marketing strategy
  • On-going liaison with agents and solicitors during sales process
  • Initial, strategy and disposal reports to bank
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to the bank
  • Advising on disposal strategy versus hold strategy
  • Producing estimated outcome statements
  • Advance title review – liaison with appointed solicitor
  • Tax and VAT checks and reviews
  • Payment of statutory property taxes
  • Invoicing, bank reconciliation
  • Implementation of management of cases files / work programmes.

Requirements

  • QFA qualified
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience
  • Working in an equivalent role in a practice environment is preferable
  • Self-confident individual with good communications skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to assimilate facts and make decisions based on same
  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to provide guidance to others
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent computer-literacy skills
