HR Generalist - Part Time

Our client a leading public sector organization in South Dublin is looking to recruit a HR Generalist to join a busy and dynamic team to work on a number of new initiatives and projects. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR
Responsibilities
- Deal with a range of HR queries and responding in a courteous and timely manner
- Recording and managing the leave process (annual, maternity, parental etc)
- Co-ordinating and delivering a full recruitment and on-boarding service for new recruits for both full time and placement positions
- Ensure all HR record-keeping and filing is maintained to the meet all legislative and policy requirements
- Attend relevant Management, Corporate Governance and HR Meetings and maintain records of these meetings
- Conduct post maternity return to work re-introduction meetings
- Monitor and implement the performance management system
- Provide relevant administrative support as required
- Assist the HR Manager with strategic planning
- Assist with reviewing all HR Policies and Procedures in line with legislative updates and amend as appropriate
- Be an expert on IRN issues and present to the HR team on relevant issues
- Deliver training on MS word, excel, PowerPoint and Visiontime
- Conduct HR Audits and review HR practices and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the department
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
- Degree/Masters in Human Resources or other relevant third level qualification (CIPD etc.)
- Certification in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (2010)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills (draft letters, minutes, reports, job advertisements etc)
- Enthusiastic and confident with the ability to work with varying types of people
- Be self-motivated and prepared to work on own initiative
- Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of the role
- Must be a team player, yet highly self-driven and ambitious
- Responsive and flexible approach to work, with a “can-do” attitude
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure
