DHRP are exclusively partnering a leading Professional Services organisation who is looking to appoint a HR Director to their growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for strategic and operational HR projects
  • Management and development of a team
  • Management of the talent strategy
  • Recruitment of professional and graduate staff
  • Management and oversight of the annual salary and bonus process
  • Management of the firm’s promotion and succession planning process
  • Developing and implementing initiatives on retention and employee engagement
  • Dealing with complex and sensitive staff issues
  • Management and development of the firm’s training programme
  • Planning of staff and management events
  • Drive and implement a diverse range of HR programmes to include flexible working, engagement, health and wellbeing, diversity etc.
  • Attend Executive and Partner meetings as required to present on projects/initiatives
  • Work with the Managing Partner and Support Directors (Finance, IT & Marketing) to drive firm strategy and implement initiatives
  • A key focus of the role will be the ability to develop relationships with the partners and management team in order to promote and lead HR policy
  • Develop and maintain external relationships and present a favorable impression of the firm

Requirements 

  • Third level qualification in a Business/HR discipline
  • Experience in professional services
  • Ability to influence senior management, establish and maintain collaborative partnerships and provide thought leadership
  • Knowledge of Human Resources trends and industry practices, as well as applicable employment law
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
