Our client a leading Professional Services firm wish to appoint a part qualified accountant to work in our Audit & Assurance Division. Working closely with seniors and the management team this individual will be required to carry out audit work in a professional and efficient manner. Strong technical, interpersonal and client relationship skills are required for this role.  This is an excellent role for someone looking to move into a bigger Practice that will give you an opportunity to work with some large and established clients.

Responsibilities

  • Organising and overseeing the planning, execution and completion of audits, accounting and other assignments within budget in a professional and efficient manner
  • Identifying the key business and audit risks of a Client and investigating all audit issues to arrive at a solution.
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Involvement in on-the-job  training of new trainees
  • Working under the direction of seniors and managers
  • Operational supervision of  low risk assignments
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients

Requirements

  • Part-Qualified auditor or accountant with experience in a medium / large practice environment working with SME or I&C clients
  • Currently working as a Trainee in a practice environment
  • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to provide guidance to others
  • Strong technical background
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent computer-literacy skills
