Pensions Accountant - Audit

Our client a leading consulting with a strong a growing Pensions arm has an exciting opportunity to join this Pension Audit team for an exciting permanent opportunity. This is a new position to join a growing team that will offer excellent scope for progression.
Responsibilities
- Auditor for pension scheme audits taking full responsibility for the audit from planning to manager / partner review level
- Liaising with our clients and relevant pension professionals to obtain relevant information in order to resolve any queries
- Investigating all audit queries to arrive at a solution or proposal
- Preparing reports detailing issues found and recommending corrective and preventative actions to resolve them
- Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe; and
- Review of Trustee Annual Reports for small occupational pension schemes
Requirements
- IATI, ACA or ACCA qualified or progressing towards such qualification
- QFA qualification desirable
- Very organised and efficient
- Strong technical competence
- Strong client focus with excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Flexible and adaptable to learning/taking on new tasks and responsibilities
- 2 years prior experience in a pension accounting role is required
