Financial Risk Director

Our client, a global Risk Consulting firm is looking to recruit a Financial Risk Director who is experienced in the management of market and credit risk, capital management and liquidity management, risk measurement and reporting, preparation for new regulation such as Basel III and Solvency II. This is an excellent opportunity with a strong remuneration package 

Role

• Overall project execution, account and client management in the banking sector
• Manage the banking-risk  area and develop an existing team
• Support  the current Risk team in business development, strategic client accounts and thought leadership in particular in the banking sector

Requirements

• Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in Risk within a credit or treasury function
• Experience in a consulting / professional services environment (essential)

• Proven success in leading and executing project work with teams in a risk, credit or treasury function of a major bank
• Broad technical expertise in credit and/or funding risk management, and the ability to share and develop this expertise further
• The desire to have business impact across the financial industry, and help grow a professional-services practice
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and business development skills
• Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment
