Senior Finance Manager - Industry

They are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team to report directly to the CFO. Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience working in large Audit with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Industry managing European Operations.  Responsibilities

• You will guarantee the reliability and consistency of the accounting of the company in line with the IFRS standards,
• You will supervise the back-office  and the  integrity of AP,AR, Banking
• You will ensure the consistency of non-integrated tools (reconcilaition)
• You will ensure Monthly  Interco balance  (120 partners)  are reconciled, Bank Reconciliations do not show old items
• You will carry out monthly balance sheet review
• You will be in charge of liaising with our internal and external auditors
• You will guarantee that the accounting team delivers reliable and meaningful financial information to the business managers, external partners and other relevant internal constituents.
• You will recruit, engage and develop the finance team
• You will manage directly a team of 5+ team leaders for a total team of 20 persons
• You will be reporting monthly the figures of the financial statements that you animate to the management controllers of those activities
• You will build monitoring tools adapted to control our internal and external risks and exposures

Requirements

• You have a strong Accounting background – BIG 4 experience 5 years PQE minimum
• PQE working in Industry ideally in Supply Chain or Retail Accounting, with significant experience in Tax Compliance at European Level (11 Countries)
• You are dynamic and service oriented with an international mindset
• Excellent command of English (written, oral) is mandatory. Foreign language is a plus.
• You love working in an international team
• You are able to work at a distance
• You are proficient with SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel and etc.)
• You are open to frequent travels in Europe
• You hold a university degree in finance or equivalent
• You practice sports regularly
• You have excellent communication skills
• You have 8+ years experience in audit on retail, wholesale or industrial companies with a major audit firm And you have 3+ years experience in industry in senior accounting or finance function in IFRS environment
• you have 5+ years experience in management
• You can lead changes in an organisation by excellent motivational communication
• You have 5+ years of work experience in Ireland
