Project Manager- Transport and Infrastructure

My client an international consulting firm are looking to strategically grow their consulting practice with a focus on expansion of their Transport and Infrastructure services
Responsibilities
- Managing teams in the delivery of small scale projects, or work streams within larger projects
- Providing guidance for research and analysis activities by the team
- Delivering presentation to clients and colleagues
- Proposal development - playing a key delivery role in the drafting of tenders and proposal documents
- Market assessments
- Demand and revenue forecasting
- Operational efficiency analysis and cost modelling
- Business case development – strategic, economic, commercial, financial and delivery
- Risk assessment and management
- Financial and commercial aspects of public sector procurements including contract documentation, performance and payment mechanisms, and funding structures
- Financial modelling and value for money analysis
- Economic and regulatory appraisals and impact studies
- Project and programme management.
Requirements
- You will have strong experience with a blue chip consulting firm or blue chip industry/government organisation
- A consulting/professional services background with public sector experience in Ireland or elsewhere is highly desirable
- Expertise in the areas transport and possibly other regulated sectors (e.g. utilities, energy, telecommunications
- An economics or accountancy background is desirable but not essential
- You will be highly numerate with excellent writing and presentation skills.
